Shipping policy

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES

Every single one of our customers is important to us and we really appreciate you continuing to shop with us post-Brexit! We now ship our teas to the USA and a selection of EU countries.

Tea is considered an essential item in the UK and is therefore exempt from tax. It's best to review any fees due by your country's customs offices before placing an order. Unfortunately, we're not currently part of any IOSS scheme which means potential sales tax cannot be included at checkout. Your order will be charged the appropriate taxes (if any) by your local customs services when it reaches your country. Unless tea is subject to sales tax in your country, you should pay the same total amount for your order but please be aware that some local customs services add a processing fee.

If you would like an order sent to a country not listed below, please email us on hello@quinteassential.co.uk so that we can help you sip our tea at any destination (if it’s sunny, we might even bring it in person).

WHERE DO WE SHIP AND WHAT ARE OUR DELIVERY OPTIONS?

We work hard to keep our shipping rates reasonable while ensuring your tea is delivered in the most efficient and reliable way possible.
  • The fee charged to send you your parcel is priced at true cost without any mark up: Royal Mail service + packaging cost = delivery fee.
  • We’re pleased that we are now able to offer free shipping, see the table below for details.
  • Please contact hello@quinteassential.co.uk with your reference number if you need to make any adjustments to your order. If your order has not shipped, we will do our very best to accommodate all updated requests.
  • We use Royal Mail for the majority of our consignments. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout using the below matrix. For peace of mind, you can upgrade to “First Class Tracked” or use our UK Express Courier service.

We ship to the USA and a selection of EU countries for a flat fee of £22.50 (approximately $30 / €27) for parcels up to 1kg (2.205 lb) in weight. This fully tracked service is provided by Royal Mail and its international partners.

EU Countries we ship to:Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Vatican City.



DO YOU LIVE AROUND CHESTER OR IN NORTH EAST WALES?

We now offer Click & Collect, a contact-free, simple, quick and easy service! Place an order as you normally would at home or on the go, and collect it from our warehouse in Saltney, Chester!

Please follow the latest Government guidelines regarding coronavirus restrictions.

  1. At the checkout, choose 'Collect in Person' and proceed to make payment.
  2. You’ll receive an Order Confirmation e-mail with your order number.
  3. Once your order is ready, you’ll receive another email from us to arrange the best date and time for you to make your collection.
  4. At the agreed time, please make your way to the pick-up point at our warehouse following your email instructions.

SHIPMENT PROCESSING TIME

In normal circumstances, all consignments are processed and dispatched the next business day after an order is placed. Orders are not packed, shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

LARGER ORDERS, EXPRESS SHIPPING AND BESPOKE INTERNATIONAL

We are able to provide a bespoke quote for larger orders, express shipping or bespoke international expedition. Simply get in touch with us via e-mail at international@quinteassential.co.uk and we will be delighted to help.

ROYAL MAIL UPDATES // CORONAVIRUS

Whilst coronavirus measures are in force, shipment of our parcels will continue in line with regulations and whenever possible. Despite restrictions, we’re generally experiencing a good level of service from Royal Mail and our other delivery partners, including to addresses abroad. However, please do allow extra time for your parcel to reach its destination as parts of the delivery services we use may be (indirectly) affected by coronavirus and Brexit restrictions.

SHIPMENT CONFIRMATION AND ORDER TRACKING

You will receive an ‘Order Fulfilled’ email once your order has shipped. When you choose '1st Class Tracked' or 'Express Courier' at the checkout, full tracking information will be sent to you.


CUSTOM DUTIES AND TAXES

Just so you know, we can’t take responsibility for any customs and taxes applied to an order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

DAMAGES

If your package arrives damaged please contact us immediately on hello@quinteassential.co.uk

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim, we’ll do our best to help but cannot accept responsibility for damage once a package is handed over to our couriers.
